Lazy Afternoon – Under the Tree:
The art print captures a typical scene from the Punjab. Two women sat chatting under the Pipal Tree, protected from the beating midday sun. Most probably they are en-route to their village, their water carriers / bowls can be seen nearby, and have stopped to rest, and share the local village rumours.
